REQUIREMENTS

A valid e-mail account is required to register.

 

A $50.00 non-refundable per child Registration Fee is due at the time of online registration. Discounts for families with multiple children are not available.

 

Only debit or credit card payments are accepted via Powerschool. No cash payments. All Latchkey bills will be sent via electronic statements. 

 

All previous outstanding balances must be paid online prior to registering for MMSA Latchkey 2024-2025.

 

TIMELINE

Student(s) may begin attending Latchkey one week after completing the online registration process and the deposit is paid. You will receive a welcome email from the director of the program.

Michigan Math and Science Academy Lorraine is proud to offer our community a high-quality Latchkey program available before and after school for students who attend our school. No child will be turned away (unless there is a balance on your account) 



IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR THE 2024-2025 SCHOOL YEAR

 

BEFORE-SCHOOL LATCHKEY PROGRAM

 

Before-school Latchkey is designed for families who need child care before school starts. Latchkey opens at 6:45 AM and runs until the start of school. Students must be enrolled at MMSA Lorraine to attend before-school Latchkey.

 

The cost for attending before-school Latchkey is $5.00 per day for each child who attends. Discounts for families with multiple children are not available. Parents are responsible for providing transportation to MMSA Lorraine.

 

Students will enter through door 2. Unless an event is happening then we'll use door 6.

 

AFTER-SCHOOL LATCHKEY PROGRAM

 

After-school Latchkey is designed for families who need childcare from the time school ends until 6:00 PM. Students must be enrolled at MMSA Lorraine to attend after-school Latchkey.

 

The cost of after-school Latchkey is $7.00 per day for each child who attends. Discounts for families with multiple children are not available. Parents are responsible for picking up their children from the Latchkey site by 6:00 pm.

 

  • Late Pickup Rate = $1 for every minute after 6:00 PM until 6:15 PM.
  • Late Pickup Rate = $3 for every minute after 6:15 PM until 6:30 PM.

 

Macomb County Children Services will be notified if a child is not picked up by 6:30 PM or is picked up late on a regular basis. If you are late picking up twice your student(s) will be removed from the Latchkey program.

 

Students will be released through door 2. Unless an event is happening then we'll use door 6.

MAKE A COPY of the document in order to complete it. To make a copy, select FILE>MAKE A COPY>Rename it as your student’s name.

** If you are DHS or FSA, include any paperwork provided by your agent.
